October 29, 2013 the year in the Centrum Kultury in Lublin took place a second conference in the series „Poland-India. Prospects of business cooperation, expectations, opportunities and challenges for the development of economic relations „, which was organized by the Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lublin. Partners of the conference was Exotic Travel travel agency, whose owner – Mr. Jahangir Mangalia moderated the event and World Trade Center. Patronage over the entire cycle took Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Mr. Janusz Piechociński.

The meeting was opened by the Mayor of Lublin – Krzysztof Żuk, highlighting the attractiveness of both the city and the region in terms of investment. The conference was addressed to entrepreneurs and representatives of local governments of Lubelskie Voivodship, so there were presented legal and tax aspects of doing business with Indian partners, possible barriers in business relations as well as recommended areas of potential Polish – Indian cooperation. These issues were discussed by Antoni Miklaszewski, former Head of Economic Section, Polish Embassy in New Delhi. The prospects for economic cooperation were discussed by Mariusz Sagan from City of Lublin.

Fixed point in the conference program is a case study, the presentation of the results of cooperation in the examples, this time companies: Flex Films Europa Sp. z oo, represented by Mr. Stanislaw Wszelaki, the company Komandor SA, whose cooperation with Indian partners discussed Mr. Konrad Chmiel, Syntea SA represented by Mr. Bartosz Sobotka and Bioremedies Immunocon company whose representative was Mr. Shakti Upadhyay. Last, but very interesting and important lecture presented by Mr. Jahangir Mangalia was about the cultural differences in business between Polish and India, of which everyone should be aware, and which he tried to explain Mr. Jahangir Mangalia.

The meeting ended with a vernissage of photography of Mrs. Krystyna Głowniak entitled “Women of India”.
