The lecture of the representatives of Chamber on „Indian IT/ BPO market”

On 16 of October 2012 during the information meeting in Warsaw, the representatives of Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce gave a lecture on “IT services in India”. The seminar “IT services (software) – the most important global trends” was organized by Investors and Exporters` Service Centre, Mazovia Development Agency Plc and Polish – Kazakhstan Chamber of Industry and Trade.

The lecture about Indian market was given by Mr. Ryszard Sznajder – President of Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce and by Mr. Michał Byczkowski – the former counselor, manager of Trade and Investment Promotion Section in New Delhi and at the present – adviser of Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce. The Representatives of Chamber presented the issues, which are connected with Polish – Indian trade exchange, rate and accurate systems, certification and non – tariff barriers. In next part of meeting, there were discussed the issues concerning the Indian IT sector, it means: history and development of IT in India, division of this sector, the most important centres, the main obstacles to this industry and why does the IT sector in India dominate this sector in other countries.
