Conference “Poland – Indie – towards effective model of economic diplomacy” organized by Sejm Commission for Foreign Affaires and Centre for Poland – Asia Studies, took place on 25th of September in Polish Sejm. The opening of the Conference was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Grzegorz Schetyna.

First part of meeting focused on a significance of Indian market for Polish entrepreneurs. Mr. Stanisław Wszelaki – President of the Council of PICC and Member of the Board of Flex Film Europa sp. z o.o. was also invited to give a speech on that issue and told about a backdrop of entry of the Indian Uflex Group on the Polish market, which was realized in a cooperation with the Chamber.

Second part of the event was devoted to the role of state administration in contacts with India. Among the speakers there were: Mrs. Katarzyna Kacperczyk – Undersecretary in Ministry of Foreign Affaires , Mr. Rafał Baniak – Undersecretary in Ministry of Treasury, Mr. Arkadiusz Bąk – Undersecretary in Ministry of Economy, Mr. Sławomir Majman – President of the Board of Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Mr. Filip Grzegorzewski – Director of Asia – Pacific Deparment.
