12 October 2015 in the International Congress Center in Katowice was held a panel discussion concerning the attractiveness of the Indian market for Polish companies in which participated Mr. Ryszard Janicki, co-owner of TB Hydro Ltd., a member of the Council of the Polish-Indian Chamber of Commerce. The panel was attended by, among others, Mr. Ajay Bisaria Ambassador of India to Poland, Ms. Lucyna Jaremczuk, Chief Specialist in the Ministry of Economy and Mr. Piot Kłodkowski, former Polish Ambassador to India, Rector of Tischner European University in Krakow.

The topics discussed during the panel included: the reasons for the attractiveness of the Indian market for Polish enterprises, the concept of the Ministry of Economy promotional project called GO INDIA as a response to the Indian government program „Make in India”, the sector of modern environmental technologies – opportunities and challenges to Poland-India bilateral cooperation, presentation of the GreenEvo program in the context of the Indian market, the prospects for the expansion of Polish companies that use eco-friendly technologies to the Indian market, ways of improving the process of cooperation of Polish companies with Indian partners.

Mr. Ryszard Janicki shared his experience of successful Polish-Indian cooperation, ie. introduced the genesis of the Polish-Indian company in Faridabad / New Delhi, informed about the advantages for both parties arising from joint ventures and shared his observations concerning specificity of the Polish-Indian cooperation.
